Sometimes the Chromebook will prompt for an old password and will not allow the user past that point no matter what he or she types in.

When this happens, just click Forgot Password and on the next screen, click Proceed Anyway. It should then be all set. (We do not store anything on the Chromebook itself so disregard the message that talks about losing data saved on the Chromebook.)
